April is a small feminine robot developed by Samsung in 2003. It has been used in HRI experiments.
KIST and Samsung continued to refine their humanoid robots Mahru and Ahra with these new models, which featured completely redesigned bodies. Mahru is white and Ahra is silver.
Samsung and KIST have been developing full-size humanoid robots since 2004, with the first version being called Mahru. It was touted as the first network-based humanoid robot.
