Takeshi Maeda is building a monster
Takeshi Maeda, the man who brought us the red bipedal humanoids named Omni-Zero, is working on a new robot, and it’s a biggie. The robot will have 24 degrees of freedom, and from what I can tell the actuators at the top of the legs look like they might be VS-SV3300s (torque: 327 kg/cm)! Maeda-san is no stranger to building large robots, having previously worked on robots in the range of 80 – 120 cm for Vstone and Team Osaka.
I look forward to seeing this beast completed, but if he intends to enter the next Robo-One tournament they may need to build a bigger ring…
