Sand Bubbler Crabs

Here’s an interesting video of a crab species called the Sand Bubbler Crab. They sift through the sand in search of microscopic food particles, building bubbles of sand on their heads of whatever they don’t eat, which is then tossed aside. Apparently these little guys live on the beaches of Malaysia, Japan, and Australia and are about the size of a fingernail. Pretty amazing stuff. Be sure to watch it in HD.
