Here’s a short video showing Iketomu’s (Biped Robot News Japan) BT-L5 multi-legged robot in a duel against Igaa’s crab-like hexapod.  As noted by Biped Robot News Japan, Japanese hobbyists normally favoring bipedal robots are beginning to tinker with multi-legged robots.  New standards for these robots are being added to popular competition events.
