CHARLI-L takes its first steps

Virginia Tech’s RoMeLa is now sharing a video of its latest humanoid robot CHARLI-L which was unveiled yesterday.

And definitely check out Dr. Hong’s interview on The Engadget Show, despite host Josh Topolsky’s incessant and infantile jokes about Terminators killing humans and robot uprisings.  It’s at the start and is a good 20 minutes long with a short demonstration of RoboCup competitiors DARwIn 3 and 4.
