As part of Science & Technology Week, Shenyang Science Palace is open free of charge to the public, where visitors can enjoy 44 different activities and exhibits including a mine detection robot (left) and Siasun’s Family Nanny Robot (right).
A visitor interacts with a public relations robot on the 1st day of the Science & Technology Week outside the Beijing National Library. Playing games with the robot, visitors will learn about recycling and proper waste disposal. One student said, “I learned that old keys and broken mirrors are recyclable and aren’t harmful waste.” The robot could be deployed in primary schools to help kids memorize how to separate garbage when recycling.

Visitors play with an edutainment robot at an International Toy Fair Trade Show which just opened. The robot is said to contain many educational games and materials including English lessons; encyclopedia; music lessons; as well as multimedia and network capabilities. The robot displays animated cartoon characters during reading lessons to keep the kids’ focused on learning.
