1:1 Gundam Statue with Beam Saber Almost Complete

Here’s a quick video showcasing the newly erected 1:1 Gundam statue at its new home near the Higashi-Shizuoka station.  The beam saber is basically Gundam’s version of the Star Wars light saber, and beginning July 24th 2010 it will actually light up.
