An e-book from 1988 focusing of retro tin toy robots is available on the iPad in an app called “Yesterday of Toys SF & Robot”.  Flip through gorgeous photos (with descriptions) of Teruhisa Kitahara’s collection of robot toys and watch videos of them in action.  It’s $2.99 USD, which seems pretty reasonable, so if you happen to own an iPad swing over to iTunes and check it out!  If like me you don’t have an iPad or the $3, you can also find lots of cool old robot toys to admire (for free!) at TheOldRobots.com.
